Abstract

Don Quixote is a great example of a work that combines different literary genres and different forms of narration in the same book, interspersing even small narrations of secondary characters that have little to do with the main plot. In this article, the literary imagination and its regions are taken into account, rather than the relevance of these intercalated texts, something proposed by Martínez Bonati. In the internal structure, the mishaps that Don Quixote initiates with other characters always begin in the same way and are due to his madness; After the development of the conflict and in conjunction with it, a comic is sometimes integrated about the secondary character that Don Quixote has intercepted and thus the different Cervantine literary regions are combined.
