Nellie Campobello is the most notorious female writer in the Mexican Revolution narrative cycle. Her book Cartucho is definitively a master work of female point of view related to a major historical and geopolitical phenomenon of main importance. This paper analyses its technics and narratological devises as well as the humanistic insight that sustains the book.
