Abstract

The article commemorates the death of Juan Luis Alborg and briefly reviews his personal and professional life. Alborg spent most of his life in the United States, where he taught at universities and wrote all of his work. For all his work he was awarded the National Award of Literature in 1959 and received other awards and decorations. After his retirement, he returned to Navarra, his birthplace. This necrologyobituary reviews the most important works of this author, the set of which is quite extensive.
