Remembrance and tribute to Sergio Beser, a Spanish teacher, writer and thinker who, like many of his contemporaries, taught at universities of USA throughout the last century. He defended his land, Catalonia, and published about it in Catalan. This article recalls his sagacity, irony and liveliness in the texts he wrote naturally, literary, essayistic and critical.
