Abstract

The article recalls the figure of Aurelio Pity García Cantalapiedra, a relevant thinker and writer who devoted himself to Cantabrian culture and art. He was a very active person, promoter of projects, open-minded and generous. His curiosity and interest in the contemporary culture of the country were very remarkable and helped him start publishing editorials, magazines and his own works.
