Abstract

This necrology remembers Margherita Morreale, an Italian Hispanist who spent part of her life in the United States teaching classes, as well as in the United Kingdom. She remembers her work as a humanist and specialist in the Renaissance, in addition to her linguistic research, carried out through projects, congresses and publications of books and articles. The numerous awards and recognitions that have been granted to her are evidence of her importance for international Hispanism.
