The literature theory in the BBMP

Abstract

Although the Boletín de la Biblioteca Menéndez Pelayo was not born as a yearbook intended for exhibition, reflection, debate or controversy on issues of literary theory, the content of its volumes is totally permeable to this field of study. In its pages, there are numerous works that stop at the examination of different aspects that, present in a work, concern theoretical concepts, literary criticism or comparative literature. In this article we try, based on just a few examples, to show the valuable transversal character of this centennial publication.
