Abstract

The vicissitudes of life have been and are sources of literary inspiration, which is why many authors have implanted autobiographical facts in their compositions, consciously or unconsciously, and have created magnificent works. Despite the fact that many aspects of Cervantes' life are not known, he made it clear that the closest and most personal reality is the one that should serve as inspiration for writing, and for this reason many specialists decide to take some data they find in his writings as biographical. , risking to fall into errors. This article delves into different theories and proposals from several researchers to point out certain interventions and comments by Cervantes characters that, without much doubt, allude to biographical data of the author.
