The leyenda del almendro, The Lost Tale Of José Hierro

Abstract

The document presents the story entitled La leyenda del almendro, written by José Hierro. With this story he won his first literary prize at the age of eleven. The Ateneo de Santander published the bases of the contest in which you could choose between three different themes: work on the children’s figures of Sotileza, story and poetry. La leyenda del almendro was serialized in the first three issues of Rumor, between December 1946 and February 1947.
