Abstract

The edition of the Confesiones of Saint Augustine written by Agustín Uña Juárez analyzes not only the content of the work but also its formal structure, its language and brings together various aspects of the context and the biography of the bishop that help the reader not only to understand this work specifically, but all those of Saint Augustine. Even the well-cared-for translation of the text, which maintains the linguistic beauty of the original, is praised in this review.
