Luis Caparrós Esperante is the first author to edit the poems of Nicomedes-Pastor Díaz in a philological and outstanding manner, including explanatory notes and refining the original texts. It is a compilation of the entire corpus of the poet that explains its meanings and provides relevant biographical data to understand it. In his analysis, Caparrós unravels, in addition to the biography of Díaz Corbelle and the meaning of his complete work, the lyrical structure, the themes and the linguistic style of the compositions. All this makes this edition one of the best to date.
