Vida y poesía de Ernesto García Ladevese by Borja Rodríguez Gutiérrez reviews the life and work of this Cantabrian writer, who is not usually remembered in his region both for having lived in Madrid and for his socialist ideology, opposed to the that the Cantabrians had in their time. The editor and author focuses on the poetry of this writer, one of the least known and studied facets of him, in addition to editing his own lyrical texts. In his book, he analyzes in detail several of his poetic works: Meditaciones, Olas del mar, Baladas y cantares, etc., which account for Ladevese's sensitivity, especially in his youth and early life. him as a writer.
