This article reviews the book Teaching Representations of the Spanish Civil War, dedicated to teaching and making the reader understand the complex episode of the Spanish Civil War of the 20th century. It is a complete and effective manual, divided into seven parts, which has an introduction, glossary, extensive chronology and precise essays and explanations on the subject. In addition, not only does it include the war itself, its causes and consequences, like any other book, but the reading is enriched with connections with the art of the moment, literature, ideologies, international relations, how the war in different forms. Beyond this, one of the parts delves into the psychological impact of the war and its survivors and all this accompanied by well-documented sources and bibliographies.
