Tradiciones discursivas is a book that compiles issues of transcription and edition of ancient texts, both oral and written. It is made up of three main parts; the first deals with the problems of transcribing and editing a ballad; the second talks about linguistic and discursive complexities in the texts that must be edited and the third deals with editing with the help of new technologies, explaining its advantages. Regarding the part of the ballads, the book includes six more essays that complement it and delve into different aspects of the edition of Spanish poems. This review is responsible for summarizing each of them and highlights their importance and relevance in the volume as a whole.
