This book deals with the relationships between Portuguese and Spanish literature throughout history. It is a very diverse collection of data, documents and perspectives, which the author knows how to connect with precision and erudition. The volume consists of ten chapters in which the documentation is distributed, focusing mainly on the Golden Age and the Silver Age of the two Iberian countries. Figures such as Lope de Vega, Calderón de la Barca, Tirso de Molina and their influences on Portuguese authors and works are studied.
