Abstract

This necrology remembers Mario Camus, a well-known Spanish film director who is also considered a writer for his written stories. These are loaded with naturalness and dynamism and always deal with human issues. He surrounded himself with writers such as Miguel Delibes, Camilo José Cela, José Saramago, among others and, furthermore, most of his films are adaptations of outstanding works of Spanish literature from any era. This text extols his personality and reviews his entire film career, which constitutes his eternal legacy in the history of Spanish cinema.
