This article proposes two reviewed works that place Valle-Inclán in a stellar moment of its trajectory. The war of 1914 produced modifications in many aspects of the aesthetic perception of reality; an example of this was the prose of the writer Valle-Inclán. This is reflected in the books La Media Noche. Visión estelar de un momento de guerra, which published in 1917 and Con el alba. El «Cuaderno de Francia» (1916).
