Abstract

This obituary pays tribute to Víctor Infantes de Miguel (1950-2016). He is noted for his work as a bibliophile, bibliographer, literary scholar of all centuries, teacher and craftsman in a printing workshop. As a bibliographer, Victor focused on solving typographical, editorial and textual problems of literary works of the canon and especially of the others, which are also part of the history of Spanish literature, of the Golden Age but not exclusively, and discovering stories of unstable, non-existent books, crouched in factitious volumes, silenced in private libraries.
