Abstract

This obituary pays tribute to José Monleón. He was a writer, professor, screenwriter and director, who developed a great editorial work in the form of essay books, prologuista or for his participation in collective books, and his wide facet of editor. In addition, his activity as a writer and lecturer stands out. He promoted numerous projects such as Argonautas 2000. Within the Monleonian work, themes such as crossing, democracy, intolerance, nationalism, interculturality or human rights were always related.
