This review deals with the publication by Rosario Mascato, who has focused on the poetic work of the writer Ramón Valle-Inclán. His analysis differs from those that have been made so far, in which the structure and formal aspects of the writer's poems were studied. For his book, Mascato has had the collaboration of other researchers and has given an interdisciplinary character to the study, emphasizing Valle-Inclán's knowledge of different fields of knowledge. One of the keys to the book is the theme that Valle-Inclán has never been considered a canonized poet, despite his poetry collections. Mascato raises many questions regarding the writer's decisions when publishing his works. Bergson is also mentioned as a relevant influence on him. Other chapters are aimed at aesthetics, music, painting, dance, theater and other disciplines to show the global interest of the author. It is a very complete analysis that puts Valle-Inclán in the place it deserves and highlights the main objectives of the study.
