Abstract

The text reviews the compilation of epistles of the writer Ramón Valle-Inclán. Its importance stands out because many of the letters had been lost or were unknown and this edition has recovered and commented on them, contextualizing Valle-Inclán's biography and times. Letters are always useful to learn more about the person and discover how they expressed themselves in private and in that written genre. In this book by Javier Serrano Alonso, all the letters documented and found so far in the press and in other compilations are mentioned; In addition, it includes unpublished documents and explains the implicatures that can be read between the lines.
