The publication by Jean-François Botrel discussed here deals with bibliometrics and the relationship between books and readers in the Spanish 20th century. Botrel, a specialist in this field, distributes different issues in the chapters: writing and editing, dissemination of the book, types of readers, influence of politics, bibliography, illustrations that adorn the texts, and reading. This last key is highlighted, since to be a good writer and analyst of books, writers and editors, it is necessary to be a good reader as well. Anthony Clarke, author of this review, highlights that the reading is enjoyable, very educational and praises that Botrel has been able to constrain so many topics in such a short book.Downloads
