«Cervantes: theatre or life»: Chronicle of the XI Conference on Classical Theatre of Olmedo

Abstract

This chronicle summarizes the activities carried out in the XI Conference on Classical Theatre of Olmedo, which counted on the participation of more than thirty specialists in the cervantine work, the aurisecular theatre or the own performance. It was held between 18 and 20 July 2016 and six dialogues and three recitals were organized, which allowed participants to approach the work of Cervantes and the theatre of the Golden Age. Cervantes, it is concluded, was an author who maintained a voice of his own.
