It is not the first time that a researcher has been interested in Luis Martín-Santos. Therefore, the biography presented here, by José Lázaro, rescues data and influences from other previous ones and highlights the figure of the writer above his writings. The book is divided into seven chapters ordered by themes, not by the chronology of Martín-Santos's life, and it has novelistic characteristics rather than essays, so its reading is entertaining and captivating. Even so, it is still a deep research work, since the testimonies and archives that José Lázaro handles for the composition of this biography must be taken into account. On the other hand, due to the multidisciplinarity of Martín-Santos, the chapters deal one by one with the fields of knowledge to which he dedicated himself, such as politics or medicine. It is a recommended reading book, for its expository clarity, creativity in the mix of genres and for the contributions on Martín-Santos.
