This book is presented as a biography that honors Pío Fernández Muriedas. Its author, Benito Madariaga de la Campa, obtained information from the biography's family to write it. Details are provided on his various professions as actor, writer, poet, as well as his office as secretary of the Union of Republican Writers and Artists during the years prior to the Civil War. He was convicted and pardoned, but he had to earn a living by reciting poems across the country.
