Abstract

The volume reviewed is the compilation of the proceedings of the X Congress of Hispanic Romanticism, held in Alicante in 2008, unlike other years, when it is held in Italy. The presentations have in common the treatment of the exile of different Latin American romantic writers. The review reviews all of them, mentioning their authors, the writers they deal with and how they carry out their analyses. Forgotten writers of Hispanism, whose memory is honored in this Congress, are also mentioned, in addition to differences between the existing types of exile.
