The reviewed book is an anthology of critical studies that deal with the stories of Julio Cortázar. The authors of the essays are students who have worked on the writer. There are twenty-eight articles grouped into eight groups, preceded by a contextualized summary of Cortázar's poetry and his literary and storytelling style. The book culminates with illustrations by various authors and a bibliography. The editor's introduction is based on analyzing the way in which Cortázar mixed genres and included poetry in the novels. She gives examples of his works and analyzes them comparatively; It also studies the trajectory of the writer, his implications and his worldview.
