Entre visillos, Nadal prize 1957

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to map the previous steps and the reception of the 1957 Nadal Prize, which went to the novel Entre visillos written by Carmen Martín Gaite. It studies the relationships that the novelist from Salamanca began to establish with the Destino group, Sempronio's tasty chronicles of the night of the award and the interviews that Manuel del Arco published in the weekly magazine Destino and in La Vanguardia, as well as the first critical articles about to the award-winning novel.
